About Jennifer Williamson and Catalyst Writing Services

While I was growing up, my mother ran the local public library.  I worked as a research assistant there, and I learned that good research means more than looking something up in an encyclopedia.

After graduating from St. Lawrence University in 2001 with a B.A. in writing, I worked for several years as an editor for Houghton Mifflin.  After that, I worked as a teacher at an adult education nonprofit.  In both these jobs, I always found myself in a writing role--from newsletter articles to grant writing, press releases to board presentations.

In 2004, I found the perfect place to combine my love of research and my love of writing: the Internet.  When I was growing up, my mother's library was our town's Google: people would come to research everything they needed to know, from cancer treatment to car repair.  Today, people who need information look online.

I take pride in helping both my clients and their readers by providing clear, accurate, informative articles.  My writing educates, answers pressing questions, and establishes my clients as industry experts.  With my writing and research skills, I can establish credibility for my clients and do my part to make the web a more informative place at the same time.

Catalyst Writing Services is based in Philadelphia and fully licensed with the state of Pennsylvania.
